WhatsApp updates terms of service and privacy policy: Accept it by Feb 8 to continue using the service

WhatsApp has started pushing a new notification for Android and iPhone users as part of an upcoming global roll-out, asking them to either accept the changes in its Terms of Service and privacy policy by February 8 or delete the account. Back in 2016 for the first time after it was acquired by Facebook, WhatsApp updated its privacy policy saying that it will share user’s data with Facebook, but it had opt out option. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro MIUI 12 Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 12 Stable Update]

Xiaomi launched its first dual-camera phone Redmi Note 5 Pro in India last year running MIUI 9.2 on top of Android 7.1 (Nougat) and later updated it to MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) back in June 2018. The company updated the device to Android 9.0 (Pie) in May 2019, and now the device has started receiving Android 9.0 based MIUI 12 Stable update. Cristiano Amon to be the next Qualcomm CEO succeeding Steve Mollenkopf

Qualcomm today announced that Cristiano Amon will be the next CEO of Qualcomm unanimously selected by the Board of Directors. Amon, who has worked at Qualcomm since 1995, is currently President of the Company. Amon will succeed Mollenkopf effective June 30, 2021 after he retires as CEO following 26 years with Qualcomm. OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 11 Android 11 Open Beta update released

OnePlus has finally released Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 update. This comes after OxygenOS 11 stable update for the  OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones that rolled out back in October last year. OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G with 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED display, Dimensity 1000+, 64MP quad rear cameras launching in India on January 18

OPPO today confirmed the launch of Reno5 Pro 5G in the new Reno5 series in India on January 18th after it was introduced in China last month. The phone will be sold on Flipkart. It comes equipped with India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC said the company and also says that the AI Highlight Video offers the perfect balance of vibrance, contrast and exposure in every video. It has 6.5-inch FHD+ 3D Borderless Sense Screen with 90Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi just launched the Mi 10i, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India as it had promised. It comes with 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz and 30Hz. It is powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC, has 5G SA/NSA support with Snapdragon X52 Modem and runs Android 10 with MIUI 12. realme V15 5G smartphone to be announced on January 7

realme today confirmed that it will introduce V15, the company’s new budget 5G smartphone in the V series in China on January 7. This comes after the realme V5 and V3 smartphones, but this is said to come with upgraded specifications. FAU-G trailer released, game launching on January 26

nCORE Games, an Indian mobile game and interactive entertainment company announced its battle royale game — FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards after the Indian Government banned 118 apps including PUBG Mobile back in September. It started pre-registrations on the Google Play Store back in November. Now it has confirmed the launch of the game on January 26th for the Republic Day.
