Airtel 3G launched in Chennai & Coimbatore !

Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecom service provider has today launched their 3G services in two of Tamilnadu’s major cities Chennai and Coimbatore. FoneArena was present at the launch event today. Cinestar and Airtel’s Brand Ambassador Karthi Shivakumar was present at the event, and was one of the first persons to try out Airtel’s 3G video calling. Samsung has officially launched the WAVE II in India. The surprising part is that many retailers have been selling this handset right from December.Samsung has been doing pretty decent with their bada powered smartphones. Folks at Nokia Beta labs has been doing a great job from the past till the present. They yet again they have come up with an app that is fully made using Nokia’s Qt technology. This is the first app that is being made using the push notification API which hugely helps in saving battery juice. You can really feel the smoothness of this Qt made app. This is what Qt is capable of.

NVIDIA Tegra 2 3D Processor launching at MWC 2011 !

We’ve seen couple of NVIDIA powered Smartphones at CES this year but this news of a 3D version of the Tegra 2. Their dual-core Tegra 2 3D processors is said to power more smartphones that is going to launch later this year. So this is just not a single core processor technology, but this is an evolution which will change the way we use our smartphones. We might see devices with this processor by spring. Nokia most trusted brand in India, Yet Again !

Nokia has been voted the most trusted brand in India according to a recent survey conducted by research firm Trust Research Advisory (TRA). The “Brand Trust Report, India Study 2011″ was launched in Mumbai on Tuesday by our beloved Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Sir, Former President of India.
