Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Nokia Lumia 1320 Hands On

Nokia’s Abu Dhabi event was probably a good-bye from the Finnish company before being taken over by Microsoft. Nokia showcased a few Lumia and Asha products at the event. Nokia launched two Windows Phone phablets at the event – Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320. Among the two, the Lumia 1520 is the flagship device with a Full HD display making it the first 1080p Windows Phone and a Snapdragon 800 SoC which makes it the first quad-core running Windows phone. The Nokia Lumia 1320 on the other hand is a mid-range phablet with a 6inch HD display and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC.

Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Apple iPhone 5s Hands On

Nokia launched a lot of devices at their Nokia World Event in Abu Dhabi. Among the devices that were launched, one smartphone stood out, not just in terms of size, but in terms of other things too. As the smartphone market is taking a turn towards the phablet segment, Nokia launched their first phablet Nokia Lumia 1520. Nokia Lumia 1520 stood out because it is the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone with a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device that has a Full HD 1080p display. Although Apple is yet to goto the phablet territory, we have Apple’s latest and greatest smartphone – Apple iPhone 5S against the Lumia 1520.

Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Hands On

Nokia World Event, held at Abu Dhabi was probably Nokia’s last event and the Finnish company couldn’t have said a better good-bye. The event had a lot of devices and the pick of them was Nokia’s first phablet – Lumia 1520. Nokia Lumia 1520 is also the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to feature a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device to come with a 1080p display. We, at FoneArena, were present at Abu Dhabi for the event and were able to make a quick hands-on comparison video between the new Lumia 1520 and Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra Hands On

The final Nokia World event at Abu Dhabi was an eventful one for Windows Phone fans as Nokia finally introduced a phablet. Nokia Lumia 1520 will be known as the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to feature a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device to come with a 1080p display. We bring you the hands-on comparison between Nokia’s first phablet and Sony’s first phablet- Xperia Z Ultra. Both the devices share some similarities despite being on completely different planets.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone phablet, it is the first Windows Phone device with a 1080p display and the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to feature a quad-core processor. We bring you a hands-on comparison with HTC’s current flagship – HTC One right from the event floor. Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Nokia Lumia 1020 Hands On

Nokia’s Abu Dhabi event saw the launch of quite a few phones although the company is all set to be taken over by Microsoft. Among the various phones launched, the star of the show was Nokia Lumia 1520. It is the first in quite a few terms – first Windows phablet, first 1080p Windows Phone, first quad-core Windows phone and first PureView device with a 20MP sensor. Nokia had previously announced their Lumia 1020 back in June with a dual-core processor and a 41MP camera, but in a more compact form-factor.

Nokia Lumia 2520 Photo Gallery

Nokia’s device division might be acquired by Microsoft soon, but that hasn’t stopped the company from bringing back its mobility vision in computers back into its portfolio. We saw the yesteryear Booklet 3G, which was one of the very few notebooks that could use a SIM and now we see a similar vision in the LTE enabled Lumia 2520, one of the first tablets to launch without a WiFi-only variant. It’s a bold step by Nokia, wanting to fill the void created by WiFi only tablets that are seemingly used only at home. Launching it with a beautiful power keyboard as an accessory for some extra bucks, the tablet envisions portable productivity with standard Nokia influences in hardware showing off. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Flip Wallet Unboxing and Hands On

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced at IFA, and with any Samsung Flagship, comes a lot of accessories too. We already saw one, the extra battery kit and today we have another, and that is the Flip Wallet cover for the Galaxy Note 3. The Flip Wallet cover is like any flip cover, it replaces the phone’s back, but also has a slide-in slit opening for storing your cards. Yep, this is for people who don’t carry their wallet everywhere and also easy access with your card being inside of your phone’s cover. Intex Aqua HD Unboxing

Intex is fairly a newcomer in the Indian Smartphone market and it started launching Android devices much after Micromax or Karbonn, but now they have caught up with the lot by releasing MediaTek based devices under the Aqua range. We saw the cheapest Android 4.2.2 phone from the same company, and it even launched its flagship 1080p device – the Aqua i7. But today we have another 720p entry from Intex in the form of the Aqua HD. It sports a 4.7 inch HD screen and a 13 megapixel camera with an interesting design and build quality. Apple iPhone 5s Leather Case Unboxing and Demo

We have had the Apple iPhone 5s with us for a while now. You might have seen us mention in the 5s Dock Unboxing that we had picked up a couple of accessories for the device from the Hong Kong Apple Store and the Yellow leather case is one of them. NEC Medias W Dual Screen Android Phone Unboxing

You might have seen us getting intrigued by the NEC Medias W Android Phone at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, but we have finally got it with us, in our hands, the wacky yet innovative dual screened Android Phone. The two 4.3″ qHD screens are definitely the unique selling point of the Medias W. It presents really interesting opportunities and even future-looking ideas for a better implementation. Not to say this is bad, but it is really intriguing for a v1.0. We had gotten hold of a retail unit of this unlocked phone that sells only in Japan with a carrier tie-up(NTT Docomo) for 100 Mbps LTE.The device has the model number N-05E.The box contents are bare, but take a look at the device in action in the video below –

LG G2, the company’s flagship phone that we recently reviewed, is very much a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S4. In that sense, LG have followed the tradition of releasing competing features and accessories similar to the S4, and that includes the Quick Window case for the G2. Micromax Canvas Tab Unboxing

Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 16,500, here we have the device. It has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean).

HTC Butterfly S Unboxing

The HTC Butterfly S is currently one of the costliest phones available in India. It is even costlier than the already costly Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Launched in India on September 4th with a hefty price tag of Rs. 52,428, the Butterfly S has finally landed in our labs for some extensive testing. We were surprised to see the box was actually from Hong Kong, so we took the box in front of a camera and unboxed it right away.
