The official Apple iPhone 5c (check out our review!) case is here! After facing much ridicule over its similarities with the popularly hated Crocs flip flops, it has landed in our office, in a matching blue colour that actually goes nicely with our blue iPhone 5c. Like all the official cases, we must say that this case too, is made of high quality materials. But of course, you wouldn’t always be content with just text or photos, we know, so here’s an unboxing video showing the case in its dotted glory –

Every iPhone needs its own dock, that’s Apple’s mandate and the newly launched iPhone 5c is no exception. But there are a couple of reasons why there’s a new dock for the iPhone 5c, which is seemingly just a plastic shell with the same internals as the 5. Well, technically yes and I have answered the question right there. It’s a new plastic shell and with difference in build comes difference in thickness and weight. But the thickness is more of the concern here. While you might be able to use the iPhone 5’s dock for the 5S, it is impossible to do so for the 5c, and hence why we picked one up from Hong Kong for our blue iPhone 5c. Nokia announced their budget phablet Nokia Lumia 1320 along with the Nokia Lumia 1520 at the Abu Dhabi Nokia World event. The specifications of the budget phablet include a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LCD IPS Super sensitive display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Windows Phone 8 OS with the latest Lumia Black update. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Nokia Music is available for free streaming of ad-free music along with Nokia HERE maps and location services.

Nokia said an interesting good-bye at the Nokia World Event, Abu Dhabi before being taken over by Microsoft by announcing a few Lumia smartphones and Asha feature phones. Nokia Asha 503 was the high-end phone among three Ashas that were launched. Asha 500 shares the same design language as the other Asha 500 series devices, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color. The Nokia Asha 503 comes with a bigger 3inch display, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 3G connectivity.

Nokia World Event was held at Abu Dhabi as Nokia’s final event before being taken over by Microsoft and Nokia announced a few devices that included a few Lumias and a few Asha phones. Among those few Asha devices was the Nokia Asha 502. The phone shares the same looks as the other devices in Asha 500 series, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color. The Nokia Asha 502 comes with a slightly bigger 3inch display and 5MP rear camera with LED flash.

The Nokia World event has seen to the introduction of the new Lumia 2520 Windows tablet from the company, restarting its good old Booklet 3G tradition. While the Booklet 3g was a note book, the 2520 is far from it. It is a full touch device, conforming to the demands of today, but of course, you can do work on the 2520 using the pre-installed office suite, but that would be a waste if there is no keyboard/mouse combo. Nokia knows that, and has seen the popularity of the Microsoft Surface accessories, so it has launched a really versatile accessory called the Power Keyboard, which adds a keyboard, a trackpad, complete protection for the tablet in the form of a folio and a battery that can provide 5 extra hours over the original battery life. The phone looks very much like the Asha 501 which was announced a few months back, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color.

Nokia unveiled the Lumia 1520, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the Nokia World earlier this week. We already brought you the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the hands-on. This is the first Windows Phone smartphone with a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display and the display has Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8 with the latest GDR3 update and Lumia Black for new software features. Check out the hands on below.

Today we have the latest HTC product – the One Max for unboxing. This is HTC first phablet and it aims to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony XPERIA Z Ultra.
Panasonic might have announced its retirement from the consumer smartphone market worldwide, but weirdly enough, that has not stopped the company from launching devices in India. One of them is the Panasonic P11, which seems like a specced down version of the P51 that we reviewed earlier. The P11 has almost the same specifications as the P51, with a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, but running on the older Android 4.1 operating system. But what’s striking is the outer shell, in a radical fluorescent green colour. But not to worry, there are replaceable covers in the box, which we show you in the unboxing video here –

What makes this phone stand out in the massive Android market, is its absolute slim design. Aesthetics compliment the extremely light body that weighs mere 120 gms. It is one of the biggest launches by Huawei in 2013 and is expected to get a successor only next year !

Nokia launched some smartphones and feature phones at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. They also launched their flagship device – Nokia Lumia 1520. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a definite flagship phone as it packs top of the shelf specifications under a Full HD display. It is also the company’s first phablet and first Windows Phone phablet. The Nokia Lumia 925 on the other hand is a relatively old phone which was launched earlier this year and it built upon the PureView camera of Nokia Lumia 920 in a much lighter body.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone device to be powered by a quad-core processor and not only is it the first phablet from Nokia, but it is also the first Windows Phone phablet. We bring you a quick hands-on comparison video between Nokia’s beast of a device and LG’s flagship – LG G2. LG G2 is also powered by the same quad-core processor that powers the giant Lumia 1520, but everything else about the two phones is quite different.
