What Steve Jobs did not announce during the iPad 2 launch today was the price drop of the older versions of the iPad. While the new iPad 2 is going on sale at same old levels , Apple has shaved off $100 across  every model from last year. The base model is available now for $399 .

HTC Trophy with Verizon branding spotted

Palm Pre 2 is currently up for pre-order in the U.S. This handset will be available exclusively on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless. It comes with a price tag of $99.99 with a 2 years contract.

Back in October, HP announced the Palm Pre 2 smartphone. This handset is the successor of Palm Pre and it is the first device which runs on the HP’s latest operating system, the webOS 2.0. Palm Pre 2 is already available in the UK, Canada and Germany, but this handset have not been launched in the US.
