Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM launched in India for Rs. 10199
Microsoft has launched the Lumia 540 Dual SIM in India, as we expected. It was announced last month and packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle lens.

Rdio launches Rdio Select with ad-free stations, 25 songs a day at Rs. 60 per month
Rdio first launched in India back in January this year. Today it has launched a new Rdio Select service that lets you listen to endless stations without ads or skip limits and also download 25 songs per month that can be replaced once per day at Rs. 60 per month. The same plan costs $3.99 in the US. Rdio also offers Rdio Unlimited plan that offers unlimited downloads and option to stream any song without ads at Rs. 119 per month. Amazon Appstore is back with another free apps offer. This month it offers 33 paid Android apps and games worth $105 for free on the Amazon AppStore starting today till May 16th. Airtel officially launches 4G FD-LTE trials in Chennai, lets customers upgrade to 4G at same price as 3G
After earlier reports, Airtel has officially launched its 4G LTE trails in Chennai. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. Chennai becomes the first city in the country to get the Airtel’s FDD-LTE service. It currently offers TDD-LTE services in Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Amritsar. It is currently offering complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G. Paytm looking forward to raise $375 million in funds from Alibaba
Paytm is gearing up to raise $375 million from existing investor, Alibaba Group, as per a report from Live Mint. The online payment processor, owned by One97 Communications Ltd will be valued at $1.83 billion if the deal is through.
