Twitter to shut down Periscope app by March 2021

Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 11nm Mobile Platform with up to 2.2 GHz CPU announced

Qualcomm just announced Snapdragon 678, the company’s next generation Mobile Platform in the 600-tier and the successor of Snapdragon 675 that was introduced back in 2018. This has Qualcomm Kryo 460 CPU clocked up to 2.2GHz, compared to 2GHz in the predecessor and has Qualcomm Adreno 612 GPU, which the company says has been improved compared to the predecessor, offering faster speeds with greater efficiency. Huami today announced Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e, cheaper versions of the GTR 2 and GTS 2 in China. The Amazfit GTR 2e has a 1.39-inch 2.5D curved glass screen with Glass vacuum coating and Aluminum alloy body, while the GTS 2e feature a 1.65-inch AMOLED 2.5D curved glass screen with glass vacuum coating, aluminum alloy body and matt frosted bottom case. These lack built-in Wi-Fi, speaker for voice calls over Bluetooth and also lacks built-in storage for music playback. HMD Global just announced Nokia 5.4, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone. It packs a 6.39-inch HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio punch-hole screen with 16MP front camera, is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 10, which is upgradable to Android 11 and 12, comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Xiaomi has announced Mi Reader Pro, the company’s latest eReader and the successor of Mi Reader that was introduced last year. It has a large 7.8-inch (1872 x 1404 pixels) flat e-Ink screen with 330PPI pixel density. There is 24-level adjustable front-lit LED adjustable reading light that lets you  customize the color tone from cool to warm to easily transition from daytime to a comfortable nighttime reading experience. It supports voice search and automatically locates keywords, making typing faster, searching and reading easier.
