LG Q8 (2018) with 6.2-inch FHD+ FullVision Display, military-level durability, Hi-Fi Quad DAC announced

LG has announced new Q8, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Q series’ soon after the introduction of Q7. It has the same 6.2-inch FHD+ FullVision Display, is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Samsung Galaxy Note9 retail box reveals complete specs, price of 128GB and 512GB variants surface again

Samsung accidentally outed a promo video that revealed some of the feature of the Galaxy Note9 that will go official on August 9th. Now the retail box of the smartphone has surfaced that reveals complete specifications of the smartphone. This reveals a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED screen, slightly larger than the 6.2-inch screen on the S9+ and a bigger 4000mAh battery, however Samsung is said to retain the SoC and the camera from the S9+.

Google acknowledges it is responsible for UIDAI helpline number added to Android phonebook, will roll out a fix soon

This week Android users in India reported Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) toll-free helpline number saved in their phonebook automatically. After a sudden uproar on Twitter, UIDAI responded saying that it has not asked or communicated with any manufacturer or service provider for providing any such facility and the said ‘18003001947’ is outdated and invalid UIDAI toll-free number. According to the teaser and the official listing on Asus India website, it is confirmed that it will be ZenBook Pro 15, which was introduced at the Computex in June. This has a 5.5-inch Full HD resolution ScreenPad, an interactive display that intelligently adapt to match whatever you’re doing, making it easier and quicker to multitask and get things done. It can change functions automatically when you switch apps, and you can create your own shortcuts.

UIDAI says it has not asked telcos to save toll-free number in phonebooks

Several Android and some iOS users in India are reporting about the sudden Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) toll-free helpline number being saved in their contacts by default. UIDAI has replaced the helpline number with new 1800-300-1947 that got into people’s phonebooks without their consent.
