Xiaomi has finally started teasing its sub-brand POCO in India ahead of the launch of POCOPHONE F1 in the country. Jai Mani, lead product manager, Xiaomi India tweeted that he has been working on the project. Even though the phone it teased as POCOPHONE by Xiaomi for global markets, it is teased as POCO by Xiaomi in India, which rhymes like OPPO who launched the Realme sub-brand recently to take on Xiaomi’s Redmi.
Google Chrome is getting a new beta update for Android bringing the version number to 69 and this includes the usual mix of interface updates and new developer features. Much like how Apple tweaked Safari-specific CSS attributes to help websites adjust with the notch-screen, Android too is following the suit including Chrome. Vivo has confirmed that it will roll out the Android 9.0 Pie later this year. Vivo told that consumers can expect the update in Q4 2018, though it didn’t provide a more precise time frame. This shows a display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch, Snapdragon 845 SoC with support for liquid cooling ,6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, dual rear cameras, 20MP front camera along with IR face unlock, similar to the Mi 8, fingerprint sensor on the back and a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging along with QC 3.0 charger in the box. Xiaomi just launched Mi A2, the company’s latest Android One smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, is powered by Snapdragon 660, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor along with a 20-megapixel secondary rear camera with Sony IMX376 sensor to capture depth information for portrait shots with AI, has intelligent scene detection and has auto sensor section . It also has the same 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor for the front camera with soft LED flash and AI beautification.
