Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 32GB, Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32″, 4A Pro 49″ and 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i get a price hike in India

After Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi TV 4 55-inch 4K TV price hike earlier this year, Xiaomi India MD Manu Jain today announced that it will increase the price of Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2i and Mi TV (32″ Pro & 49″ Pro) from today midnight. Xiaomi blames depreciation of the rupee (by ~15% since the beginning of the year) for the significant increase. The company at the launch of Redmi 6 and 6A smartphones and Mi LED TV 4 Pro series said that it might increase the price of the devices after two months.

Over 1 million Honor smartphones sold during the Diwali festive sale

Huawei’s Honor brand has announced that it has sold over 1 million or 10 lakh smartphones during the Diwali festive season sale on Flipkart, Amazon and Honor store. The Honor smartphones such as the Honor 9N, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7S, Honor 9i, Honor 10 and Honor 7A were sold on special prices and offers. Amazon Audible audio book service launched in India

Amazon has finally launched its Audible service in India. This lets you listen to your favourite books using the Audible app. The company says that it has over 200,000 audiobooks narrated by performers across several genres. The company says that the service is currently in beta and it is still adding more new and exciting Indian and international audiobooks every day.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A go on open sale in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones in India back in September. Now the company has announced that the phones are available via open sale in the country. Even thoug the Redmi 6A 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version is now available for Rs. 6999 from Amazon.in in an open sale. However, the 16GB version will be available on Amazon.in for Rs. 5999 November 14th.

Airtel offers highest 3G/4G download speeds, Idea leads in upload speeds: OpenSignal
