DIZO under the realme TechLife ecosystem launched its new wireless headsets last week. Now it has silently launched new DIZO Star 300 and DIZO Star 500 feature phones in the country, after they were certified by the FCC in May. Both these are 2G phones powered by Spreadtrum SC6531E processor, feature a QQVGA and QVGA screen, respectively, rear camera, and support for Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati and Telugu languages, in addition to English. Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S GPS smartwatches launched in India

Garmin has launched Venu 2 and Venu 2S GPS smartwatches in the new Venu series in India. These come with newly built-in Health Snapshot feature, enabling the users to log a 2-minute session to record key health stats, including heart rate, heart rate variability, Pulse Ox2, respiration and stress, generating a report via the Garmin Connect app to monitor the statistics. Airtel Black combines Postpaid, Broadband & DTH under a single connection

Airtel has launched Airtel Black that lets bundle 2 or more of Airtel services (Fiber, DTH, Mobile) together. This entitles the customer to one single bill, one Customer Care number with a dedicated team of relationship managers, and priority resolution of faults and issues, says the company. This doesn’t have any additional costs or installation cost, and  comes with free service visits for life. The company launched a similar plan last year for select circles. PLI Scheme: Dell, Wistron, Foxconn, Flextronics, Lava and Micromax among 14 approved companies

Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (MeitY) has approved 14 eligible applicants under the  Scheme (PLI) for IT Hardware. A total of 19 companies filed applications for the PLI scheme in May. PLI Scheme for IT Hardware, extends an incentive of 4% to 2%/1% on net incremental sales (over base year of FY 2019-20) of goods under target segments that are manufactured in India to eligible companies, for a period of four years. This scheme for a period of 2020-21 till 2024-25 has been extended by one year, i.e. till 2025-26.
