The folks at BGR.in have just posted that the Nokia 808 PureView has got a new price tag of Rs.33899 on the Nokia Store with an unconfirmed MRP of Rs.34999. The 808 PureView packs a whopping 41 Megapixel Camera sensor with a Xenon flash and capable for recording 1080p videos.From the little time , I have had with the device since Mobile World Congress, CTIA and Nokia India events , I totally want one as I have owned the Nokia N82, N86 8MP and the N8. The PureView is a must have if you are camera phone freak like me. Only thing which is not so fancy about the PureView is the Symbian OS but then that is the OS which has good image processing capabilities. At the Nokia Strategy Summit in Chennai today , I had the chance to check out the Nokia Asha 311 which was announced only yesterday along with the Nokia Asha 305 and 306. Entry level phones are generally slow and boring but you would be surprised at what the 311 packs. In fact , it’s the sexiest entry level Nokia phone I have played with in quite some time. While Nokia call the latest Asha phones as Asha Smartphones , they are still pretty much feature phones. The phone is insanely fast for its segment and may be even faster than some Symbian phones and entry level Android phones as it packs a 1GHz processor. Check out the photos of the Asha 311

Folks at Qualcomm think that the Snapdragon S4 processor is cool , guess what ? They have some proof to prove it. Nokia has announced Asha 311, their first full-touch Series 40 phone. It has 3.0-inch (240 x 320 pixels), capacitive touch screen Polarized display for better readability in sunlight, 1GHz processor and comes with 3G support. It has 3.2 MP camera and runs on S40 Asha OS with Swipe interface. It has pre-loaded Angry Birds game, Facebook and twitter social apps and also comes with 40 Free EA games such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed The Run and Fifa 2012. Samsung Galaxy S3 with 2GB RAM, LTE, Snapdragon S4 processor coming to Canada on June 20
Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in Canada starting from 20th June. It has 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz instead of Exynos 4 Quad. It would come in 2 versions, SGH-i747 with LTE support and SGH-iT999 with HSPA+ 42 support. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz with Motion UX. Samsung launches Galaxy S3 in 28 countries, to be available in 145 countries by July
Samsung has officially announced that it has launched the Galaxy S3 in 28 countries today in Europe, Middle East and Africa including, United Kingdom, France, UAE and Saudi Arabia. They plan to launch in a total of 145 countries across 296 carriers by July. This is more than that of the previous Galaxy S series phones. The Galaxy S was launched in 112 countries with 175 operators and the Galaxy S2 was launched in 135 countries with 210 operators. LG LTE smartphone sales surpass 3 million globally
LG has announced that they have sold more than 3 million LTE smartphones globally. The Optimus LTE global shipments crossed the 1 million mark earlier this January.
