Nokia Asha 311 Touch Screen phone announced


Nokia has announced Asha 311, their first full-touch Series 40 phone. It has 3.0-inch (240 x 320 pixels), capacitive touch screen Polarized display for better readability in sunlight, 1GHz processor and comes with 3G support. It has 3.2 MP camera and runs on S40 Asha OS with Swipe interface. It has pre-loaded Angry Birds game, Facebook and twitter social apps and also comes with 40 Free EA games such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed The Run and Fifa 2012. It is 12.9 mm thick and weighs 95g.

It has Music Player, FM Radio and Internet Radio, 256MB internal memory, 100MB free user memory and supports up to 32GB Micro SD memory card. The connectivity features include, 3G HSPA, WiFi  802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, Micro USB 2.0,  3.5 mm audio jack. It comes with 1110 mAh battery.

The Nokia Asha 311 comes in Dark Grey, Rose Red, Blue, Brown and Sand White depending on the market. It is priced at 92 Euros excluding taxes and subsidies and is expected to be available in Q3 2012.
