We have seen the leaks and we definitely saw this coming. Yes, Huawei has unveiled the new Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate at CES today, at their press conference. It has a 5 inch full HD 1080p screen, which means that it will join the ranks of HTC’s J Butterfly and many more Android devices to come this year. The phone sports a 1.5 GHz Quad core in house K3V3 processor and runs on Android Jellybean. The battery is rated at 3000 mAH and the device sports a 13 megapixel rear camera.
Spice has launched Stellar Virtuoso (Mi-495), their new Android smartphone with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) one-glass solution (OGS) capacitive touch screen IPS display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with an 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It has Dual SIM support with Dual Standby. The company launched 3 Stellar phones last year. Zync has launched range of Dual SIM feature phones, Zync C18, Zync C21, Zync C22, Zync C24, Zync C27 and the Zync C30 in India. The company entered into the Smartphone market in October with the Zync Cloud Z5, a 5-inch phablet. These new phones support Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) support with Dual Standby and comes with a loudspeaker, 4GB micro SD card, USB connectivity, Bluetooth, dual LED torch light, 1.3 MP with video recording, music player, FM radio and more. Samsung has announced Galaxy Grand, a new Android phone in the Galaxy series. It has a 5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash, BSI sensor for better low-light imaging, zero shutter-lag and ultra-quick camera start-up. It also has a 2MP HD front-facing camera. It would come in dual SIM (GT-I9082) and single SIM (GT-I9080) variants. It also Samsung’s unique features such as Multi Window (Multiscreen), S Voice, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Smart Alert and AllShare Play. Karbonn A15, the company’s new Dual SIM Android Smartphone is now available from online retailer Saholic. It has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Most of the features are similar to the A11 that was launched last month, but the A15 has just a 3MP Camera with Face Detection instead of a 5MP Auto Focus camera with Flash, and lacks a front-facing camera. LG and Google unveiled the Nexus 4,new Smartphone in the Nexus family at the end of October. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) display with 320 ppi and corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Nexus 4 is priced at $299 for the 8GB version and the 16GB version comes at a price tag of $349.
