Garmin has introduced the Forerunner 70, Forerunner 170 and Forerunner 170 Music in India, expanding its portfolio of GPS running smartwatches designed for runners across different fitness levels and training needs.
The series features a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display across all models along with built-in GPS, health monitoring, smart notifications, safety and tracking features, and multi-day battery life. The lineup is designed for structured training, recovery tracking and everyday fitness use.
Garmin Forerunner 70
The Forerunner 70 is designed for runners who want structured guidance along with core tracking tools. It focuses on simplifying training while offering adaptive insights based on performance and recovery data. It supports essential running metrics and extends into deeper training analysis using Garmin’s performance systems.

Forerunner 170 Music
The Forerunner 170 Music includes all features of the Forerunner 170 with added offline music support. It allows users to download playlists from supported streaming services and listen via Bluetooth headphones without carrying a phone during workouts and runs.

The Forerunner 70 will be available from today via Garmin India website, Flipkart and retail partners (Garmin Brand Stores, Just In Time, Helios, Reliance Digital, Malabar Watches), with Flipkart Plus early access. The Forerunner 170 and Forerunner 170 Music will be available from July 4, 2026 via Garmin India website, Amazon and the same retail partners.
