Samsung Russia has announced that it’s entire line of Galaxy products are getting the Gingerbread update. While many phones have already got the update , the company has promised that it’s bringing the gingerbread update to the Galaxy Tab 3G and WiFi models and also the Galaxy SL i9003. The Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 will not get Gingerbread love but only Froyo !
Bohemia Interactive has launched, ARMA 2: Firing Range, simulation game for NVIDIA Tegra 2 Android phones. Gmail for Android has been updated to version 2.3.5. This version brings new features that include, custom notifications and ringtones for specific labels in your inbox, sync only priority mail to save bandwidth and lots more. Sprint has finally released the Motorola Photon 4G smartphone. The powerful Motorola Photon 4G comes with a price tag of $549.99. You can also get this handset for just $199.99 with a 2 year service agreement.
Last month, Motorola and Sprint announced a new Android powered Motorola Photon 4G smartphone. It is the company’s first Sprint 4G device with a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. We here at Fone Arena are big fans of Mugen Power Batteries, this uprising company from the east, providing us power-hungry geeks with more juice for all our favourite devices, most notably batteries for smartphones. Google Maps for Android has been updated to version 5.8.0 that brings new features like photo uploading for places, My Places to access starred and recent Place quickly and add new places to check-in. ASUS recently tweeted that, the Android 3.2 update for this tablet will be rolled out from tomorrow. This update expected to come with compatability zoom for phone apps, support for microSD loading and other tablet-based optimizations.

Beetel, a part of the Bharti Group, will soon launch its first tablet device, the Beetel Magiq in India. This tablet runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System and it seems to be a rebranded version of Huawei SmaKit S7.
Almost all the major handset manufacturers are entering into the tablet market. Even Micromax and Maxx mobiles are planning to launch their tablet in India. Beetel, a part of the Bharti Group, will soon launch its first tablet device, the Beetel Magiq in India. This tablet was recently listed at Sagar Telecom, an unknown online retailer in India, but the page was later removed.
