Aakash tablet online bookings reach 14 lakh in 2 weeks, UbiSlate 7 sold out till February


Bookings for the Aakash tablet has reached 14 lakh in just 2 weeks after the bookings opened last month, according a report from Economic Times. The UbiSlate 7 (upgraded Aakash tablet) has been renamed to UbiSlate 7+ recently. The UbiSlate 7+ (Aakash2 tablet) is also sold out on their official site till February, however you can book it for March. Spice Mi-280 Dual SIM Android phone launched in India for Rs. 5123

Spice has launched another Dual SIM Android phone, Spice Mi-280 in India. This has 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2MP camera and VGA front camera. It is powered by 600MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It also comes with 5-way key and touch navigation button. It is the successor of Spice Mi-270, Dual SIM Android phone that was launched last year. They also launched another Dual SIM Android phone, Mi-350n recently. HTCdev bootloader unlocking tool updated to support phones launched after September 2011

HTC has announced that the latest HTC devices launched after September 2011 are now unlockable with the updated bootloader unlocking tool. They announced that they would offer an option to unlock the boot loader and launched the unlocking tool earlier this August starting with the HTC Sensation and have added more devices to the list since then. They also launched the HTCdev site with OpenSense S3D and Pen SDK along with the web tool for unlocking the boot loaders. LG PRADA 3.0 now available in Korea, hitting Europe in January


LG unveiled the PRADA 3.0, their 3rd generation PRADA phone  in collaboration with LG earlier this month. The PRADA 3.0 is also the first PRADA phone to run on Android. The phone is now available for Korean customers. It features 4.3 inch  (800 x 480 pixels) NOVA Plus display with 800-nit brightness. It is powered by 1.0 GHz Dual core processor with Dual Channel architecture and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is up-gradable to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung Omnia Taxi follows the Nokia Lumia Taxi

Nokia has been crazily promoting it’s Lumia handsets in India under the Amazing Everyday banner and I’m sure none of you might have missed the news (Even my mom knows about it !).
