Samsung has launched White version of the Galaxy Note in South Korea. Samsung announced the Galaxy Note in September and launched it in Korea this November with LTE support. The new White version would also come with LTE support and complete white colored front and back including a white colored S Pen. The features are similar to the black version. Nokia has started selling the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in India few days back. Although we did not experience any dramatic problem with battery life on the Lumia 800 , looks like some users are facing battery life issues on the devices. Nokia India has issued a statement to FoneArena to clarify the same. Nokia says that a software problem is preventing some units from accessing the full battery capacity and that a software fix is coming in early 2012 which would address this issues and improve battery life for those units. Swingtel HelloTab is the new tablet in the Indian market from SWINGTEL Group. This tablet features a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen. It is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs on Android 2.2. It has 5MP auto focus camera and secondary VGA camera and comes with 3G support. Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. They announced the phone in August. It is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor with Adreno 205 GPU and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 3.2-inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and boasts 5MP Autofocus camera with 720p video recording and a font facing VGA camera for video calling. It is 14.2 mm thick and weighs 115g.

Paper Zombie by WildBit Studios is now available for iPad. This game was launched on iPhone this September and came to Android earlier this month. Paper Zombie has been downloaded near half a million times on iPhone and Android. It is an arcade-style blaster and shooter mobile fantasy game based on the classic zombie genre with exciting, action-packed strategic play, 3D graphics, fantastic music and amazing Zombie characters imaginatively all made of paper!

Samsung Galaxy R has seen a price drop in India. Samsung announced Galaxy R, stripped down version of the Samsung Galaxy S2, this July. It was launched in India at a steeper price of Rs. 27439 this October. The price of the phone dropped to 22,900 recently and now it is available less than that. The LG Optimus Net Dual SIM (P698) and the LG Optimus Sol has been priced in India and now available for pre-order from the online retailer Letsbuy. LG announced the LG Optimus Net in July and later said that it would come with Dual SIM support in 30 European countries. The Dual SIM version went on sale in Russia last month as LG Optimus Link. Adobe Flash Player has been updated to version 11.1.112.60 that brings support for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) devices. Adobe already promised that they would offer an update for the Flash Player to bring Android Ice Cream Sandwich support within this year. Sports Tracker fitness app is now available for Windows Phone devices. They have also announced a Facebook contest to win a Nokia Lumia 800. Sports Tracker lets you track and analyze your performance such as Running, Cycling, Swimming and more, share workout data with your friends, get fit and stay healthier. It was expected to be available by November during Nokia Lumia 800 launch, but delayed. Sports Tracker is already available for Symbian, Android, iPhone and Nokia N9. Facebook’s Timeline feature is now available for Facebook for Android and mobile web. The new Timeline feature in Facebook lets you view your’s and other’s profile as a timeline with new cover photo, things shared such as Photo albums and other posts in an horizontally swipeable view. Timeline is also available for Facebook web interface worldwide. Facebook for Android got a new update to v1.8.0 recently that brought new features such as better photo viewing, easier Navigation, push notification and more. When Nokia announced it’s first Windows Phone at Nokia World couple of months back at London , I seriously did not expect the Nokia Lumia 800 to go on sale in India till 2012. But Nokia India just sold the first set of Lumia 800s to customers who had pre-booked the device at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon near New Delhi last night at 10 p.m. Customers had to pay Rs.29999 for the device.Nokia had roped in Tennis star Sania Mirza to hand over the devices to the customers. The Samsung Galaxy Note has arrived and with it comes the now obligatory unboxing video. But first, a quick recap on what the Galaxy Note is. The Galaxy Note is a super sized phone, or a small tablet – depending on your point of view. Personally I view it more as a phone as, while it is massive, it is a fully functioning phone, and most users will likely use this as their main phone rather than carrying a separate smartphone (and why would you want to?). Add the S-Pen stylus and the 5.3″ Super AMOLED HD (800 x 1280) display with Wacom digitiser to the mix and what you get is a device that replaces not only your smartphone, but also your Moleskine notebook.
Sony Ericsson and Box.net has teamed up to offer this Xperia range of Android phones 50GB of free file sharing and storage on Box.net. They can get the free storage by simply logging into their Box account through the Box for Android application in the Android Marketplace from their Xperia phones.
