Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018. OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.0.4 update for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro smartphones. The update brings 50GB free storage in gallery for India. You can claim the free storage once per account, and is valid for 1 year for the day you claim it, said the company. This was announced at the launch event of the phone. The update also brings several optimizations, including improvements to overall communication performance and improve front camera low-light performance. LG started beta testing for G8 ThinQ in Korea back in May. Today the company has confirmed that it will roll out stable Android 10 update for the phone this month starting from Korea. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018. The company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update to the smartphone back in May this year, the device is almost 18 months old and has already received two Android updates. It is almost certain that Xiaomi will not update the Android version on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but in case you own a Redmi Note 5 Pro and wish to keep your device updated with the latest Android version, you may try a custom ROM. HMD Global already confirmed Android 10 update for its Nokia smartphones that were launched last year and this year. After Android 10 (Go edition) was announced by Google this week, HMD Global has confirmed the roll out details for its entry-level phones. The Nokia 1 Plus which was launched in India running Android Pie Go Edition will get the update in Q1 2020. Since OnePlus started rolling out Android 10 stable update for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones last week, it was given that the OnePlus 7T will run Android 10. Today the company has officially confirmed it. It will be the first smartphone officially pre-loaded with Android 10, Google’s latest version of Android with Google’s core apps and services. Last week HUAWEI introduced the Mate 30 series with Android 10 and EMUI 10, but the phones don’t have Google services. After Oxygen OS developer build and Open Beta updates based Android 10, OnePlus just announced that it has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.0 stable update for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. This comes before the launch of OnePlus 7T smartphone launch on September 26th, which will run OxygenOS 10.0 out of the box. OnePlus should also confirm the roll out details for older OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 5 series phones at the launch event next week.
