Get Android 10 on POCO F1 with Havoc OS

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018. Xiaomi Mi A2 Android 10 update starts rolling out

Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in December 2018. Android One devices from other brands such as HMD and Motorola have already received Android 10 update, as per the Android One policy, the Mi A2 is eligible to receive Android 10 update. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 5 Pro with Pixel Experience

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018. The company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update to the smartphone back in May this year, the device is almost 18 months old and has already received two Android updates. It is almost certain that Xiaomi will not update the Android version on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but in case you own a Redmi Note 5 Pro and wish to keep your device updated with the latest Android version, you may try a custom ROM. 4K and 8K video recording to get easier as Android 11 to remove 4GB file size limit

Soon, you might be able to record larger video files for 4K recordings as code has been spotted in Android 11 AOSP code that removes the current 4GB file limitation. This will update a decision taken by Google back in 2014 to set the 4GB approximate file size limit as that was all that required at the time.

Google Chrome 79 for Android roll out paused due to bug that deletes app data

Google has paused the rollout of Chrome 79 that was just released with the new phishing protections updates. Users who updated discovered a bug that caused data from other apps to be deleted. The reason identified had to do with how apps use Android WebView on Android.
