MIUI 10 New Features and First look on Redmi Note 5 Pro

Xiaomi announced 10th iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI along with Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 on 31st May in China. Xiaomi is aiming to roll out MIUI 10 Beta ROM in couple of months to MIUI China ROM users and it has already started closed beta testing for the same. Links for these closed beta ROM has been leaked for Mi 5, Mi 6, Mi Mix 2 and Redmi Note 5 (which is called Redmi Note 5 Pro in India) and we installed it on our Redmi Note 5 Pro to check out all new MIUI 10. HMD Global just announced its 2018 refresh of its budget lineup, that includes Nokia 5.1, successor of last year’s Nokia 5. Similar to the other Nokia phones, it is an Android One smartphone. It packs a 5.5-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect  ratio, is powered by unannounced 2.0 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P18 SoC with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.0 (Oreo), which is upgradable to Android P in future. OnePlus 5 and 5T OxygenOS 5.1.2 update brings double-tap to lock screen, May Android security patch and more

OnePlus 5 and 5T received OxygenOS 5.1 Android 8.1 (Oreo) stable update last month, and soon the company rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.1 for the phones with an Hot Fix to fix ringtone issue for phone and notifications. Now it has rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.2 update that brings several new features for Gallery, fixes for WiFi, microphone issues when using AKG earphones and finally double-tap to wake-up for the lock screen. According to Avast, thousands of Android smartphones are being shipped with adware pre-installed, including the devices from manufacturers like ZTE and Archos. Interestingly, the majority of these devices are not certified by Google. The malware is named ‘Cosiloon’ creates an overlay to present an ad over a webpage within the users’ browser.
