Xiaomi launched Mi A1 back in September last year under Android One programme in collaboration with Google with an aim to keep the Android version updated for next couple of years. Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition smartphone announced

Xiaomi has announced Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition in China, over a year after it introduced the Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Edition. It has the same specifications as the Mi 6X smartphone that was introduced recently, but comes in new green color and comes in a unique package that has a Limited edition Mi Power bank, soft protective case printed with Hatsune Miku image, metal nameplate and the the phone has an unique Hatsune Miku image engraved along with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro sales cross 5 million in India in 4 months of launch

Xiaomi today announced that its Redmi Note 5 series that includes the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have crossed 5 million sales in India, since it was launched back in February this year.  Xiaomi says that it’s the fastest selling phone series in India to cross the 5 million mark in the given time across all platforms. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 sales cross 1 million in just 17 days

Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 3 along with the Mi 8  in China last month, and the fitness tracker when on sale on June 5th. Xiaomi announces Mi Explorer program in Spain, Mi A2 Android One smartphone expected to launch soon

Xiaomi has a tradition of involving Mi Fans in device exploration before the launch of devices, these explorers get devices before the official launch and are expected to participate in challenges given by the company. Before Redmi Note 3 India launch company recruited 100 Mi Fans under the Mi generation program in 2016 and last year, company recruited 50 hardcore Mi Fans as Explorers to test and explore Redmi Note 4 before its official launch in India. Xiaomi launches Flame Red Redmi Note 5 (Redmi Note 5 Pro) in China

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue colors earlier this year. Later it introduced the same phone as Redmi Note 5 with better specifications in same colors in China. Now the company has introduced Flame Red color variant of the smartphone in China. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro with Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM, Dual speakers surface

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with model numbers M1804E4A, M1804E4T and M1804E4C got certified by TENAA in China last week. This revealed 6.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio screen, Snapdragon 636 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM,  Android 8.1 (Oreo), 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, along with a secondary rear camera with AI portraits. Now details about the Mi Max 3 Pro has surfaced in China, which is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 710 SoC and 6GB of RAM.

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 6 Pro the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Redmi series, as it had promised. It packs a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top, a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection. There is also a 5-megapixel front camera with AI portrait and AI Face unlock.

Xiaomi is looking to raise up to $6.1 billion in Hong Kong IPO

After postponing Shanghai IPO, Xiaomi today confirmed that it will list in Hong Kong first offering a total of 2,179,585,000 Shares (subject to the Over-allotment Option), comprising initially 108,980,000 Hong Kong Offer Shares (subject to adjustment) and 2,070,605,000 International Offer Shares (subject to adjustment and the Over-allotment Option). The offer price range is from HK$17 to HK$22 per share, so the company could raise anywhere between US$ 4.72 billion and US$ 6.1 billion. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro with 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, AI dual rear cameras teased in official renders, live images

Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Redmi 6 Pro smartphone on June 25th, now the company has teased the smartphone in several images. A Chinese website has also shared unboxing images of the smartphone and also confirms that the 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX486 along with a secondary  Samsung S5K5E8 sensor for AI portrait shots, same as the Redmi 6,. The company already confirmed Snapdragon 625 SoC and a 4000mAh battery for the smartphone in the teaser. Xiaomi now has 1000 service centers in over 600 cities across India, leader in after sales service

Xiaomi has achieved a new milestone by opening its 1000th authorized service center in India in Hyderabad. This includes 500 service centers for Mi TV. It opened its 500th service center in Bengaluru back in June last year. Xiaomi’s service centers are now in over 600 cities in 4 years since the company entered India. The company said that it has over 6000 workforce contributing to the service network.
