Xiaomi at the Redmi Y2 launch event in India announced the global roll out details of the MIUI 10, as expected. The company said that the global roll out of MIUI 10 Beta will begin June 14th and registration for it begins tomorrow, June 8th. There will be roll out for multiple devices. Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Y2, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in India, as expected. It is the version of the Redmi S2 which was introduced in China last month. It packs a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 on top, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture depth information for AI portrait shots. Xiaomi today confirmed that it will introduce its budget Redmi 6 smartphone at an event in China on June 12th. This is the successor of Redmi 5 that was announced back in December last year. Xiaomi smartphones with model numbers M1804C3CC, M1804C3DE and M1804C3CE got certified by TENAA last month, so this could be the Redmi 6.

Xiaomi Xiaomi M1805D1SC, M1805D1SE, and M1805D1ST got certified by TENAA in China last week. Now the phone has been certified by the FCC with the model number M1805D1SG , which reveals the dimensions of the phone that coincides with the TENAA certification, and the certification by Singapore’s Communications Authority with the same model number reveals that the phone will released as Mi A2 Lite, so there are chances that the we might see recently-introduced Mi 6X as Mi A2. Xiaomi announced 10th iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI along with Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 on 31st May in China. Xiaomi is aiming to roll out MIUI 10 Beta ROM in couple of months to MIUI China ROM users and it has already started closed beta testing for the same. Last year at the Redmi Y1 launch event Xiaomi announced roll out details of MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM for its phones. Xiaomi has finally announced the most expected Mi Band 3 at the Mi 8 event in China, as it had promised. It has a 0.78-inch OLED display, compared to 0.42-inch in the Mi Band 2 so that it can display more characters including WhatsApp, Facebook or SMS messages, Weather info, caller ID and more. Xiaomi just announced Mi 8 SE along with the Mi 8 and the Mi 8 Explorer Edition at an event in China. It comes with a 5.88-inch FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a notch 86.12% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture depth information for portrait shots with AI and also has intelligent scene detection. It also has the same 20-megapixel front camera with AI portraits and AI beautification and uses pixel binning technology, combining the information from four pixels to create one large 2.0µm pixel.
