Nokia Symbian Anna Update rolling out to N8, E7, C7 and C6-01

Nokia has announced that the much awaited Symbian Anna update is finally available for Symbian phones such as the N8, C7 , E7 and C6-01.  The update brings a new UI along with some improvements in messaging , maps and the browser. The update is available through Ovi Suite and as an Over The Air update.The Over the Air normally takes a bit longer to appear so you can try using Ovi Suite to check if your phone has received the update. The release also says that more than 10 Symbian phones will be launched in the next 12 months. The update is slowly rolling out to all countries . Have you updated your Nokia to Anna ? Let us know ! Getit Local Search App now available for BlackBerry phones

Getit Local Search app is now available for BlackBerry phones. This app lets you search for places based on your location using GPS. You can search for places in your locality like Restaurants, Hotels, Hotels, Real Estate, Auto, Electronics, Travel and much more. They launched the iPhone app recently.

Samsung Galaxy S II 32GB Variant Spotted

So far the Samsung Galaxy S II has been enjoying incredible sales and with the white version coming soon, the numbers are only set to increase. But even the white one is expected to come in 16GB version. The 32GB version that was promised during the announcement is still unavailable.

120,000 Units of LG Optimus 3D Sold in South Korea

An LG spokesman announced that LG has done very well globally as well as in Korea. The LG has managed to sell over 120,000 units of the Optimus 3D since its launch last month on the SK Telecom network.

Nokia and Polar Mobile to launch over 300 mobile apps for Symbian , Meego and Windows Phone

Looks like Nokia is still supporting Meego and Symbian as it plans to launch over 300 apps for Symbian , Meego and Windows Phone devices over the next 12 months. The handset maker has entered into an agreement with mobile app developer Polar Mobile to launch apps for top media brands. The first 50 apps will be available on Nokia Ovi Store for Symbian phones.All these apps are expected to use the Qt framework which enables developers to reuse code across various mobile platforms. FIFA 12 coming to Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY


Sony Ericsson has announced that they have made limited time agreement with EA Mobile to offer FIFA 12 game optimized for Xperia PLAY. This would offer the Xperia PLAY owners to experience the FIFA 12 exclusively, before it comes to the Android Market. They launched Battlefield: Bad Company 2 last month.

Following the preliminary injunction given to Samsung banning sales of its 10.1 ” tablet across Europe , the Dusseldorf based court has reverted on its order. Apple claims that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a copy of the Apple iPad in the design department.
