Nokia 206 Dual SIM phone now available in India for Rs. 3599

Nokia 206 that was announced back in November last year along with the Asha 205 is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. The Asha 205 was launched in India last month. It has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display and runs on Nokia’s Series 40 OS. It has Easy Swap Dual SIM support that lets you switch between SIM cards without turning off your phone. The SLAM feature in the phone enables multimedia content sharing between phones equipped with Bluetooth, regardless of the OS (iOS and Windows Phone not supported currently). Nokia 114 with dual SIM launched for Rs. 2,549

The Nokia 114 was launched in India today at a price point of Rs. 2,549. The handset is an addition to the company’s feature phone line up. The Nokia 114 is equipped with a long lasting battery which is rated for 10 hours of talk time and almost a month of standby time.

Nokia sells 4.4 million Lumias in Q4, gives positive outlook

Nokia has published preliminary financial results for the period of Q4, 2012 and have declared them to be better than expected.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer has estimated shipments of its range of Lumia smartphones to have crossed 4.4 million units. It also shipped 9.3 million units of its Asha range of feature phones. Nokia Lumia 620 launched in India, no word on the pricing yet

At a press conference in New Delhi, Nokia has launched the much awaited mid end Windows Phone 8 Lumia 620 in India. Nokia had announced the Lumia 620 at the Le Web Conference in Paris last month, and it was the first affordable Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia. The device, with pretty great specs for a mid end device was a surprise announcement at Le Web, and comes with sweet dual coloured polycarbonate variations. It was revealed to the world by Marko Ahtisaari, the principal design head of Nokia.

The Economic Times  reports that there’s a tax raid going on at Nokia India’s plant at Sriperumbudur near Chennai. The team of tax officials are conducting investigations at the plant as well the Finnish company’s offices in Chennai. Officials suspect tax evasion to the tune of Rs. 3000 crore.

LG Optimus G vs Nokia 808 PureView #BOTF12 Round 2

After a resounding victory for the Nexus 4 over the Apple iPhone 5, here comes the first battle of the penultimate round of Battle of the flagships 2012. Samsung Galaxy Note II vs Nokia 808 PureView – #BOTF12 Round 1
