Nokia 206 Dual SIM phone now available in India for Rs. 3599

Nokia 206 that was announced back in November last year along with the Asha 205 is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. The Asha 205 was launched in India last month. It has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display and runs on Nokia’s Series 40 OS. It has Easy Swap Dual SIM support that lets you switch between SIM cards without turning off your phone. The SLAM feature in the phone enables multimedia content sharing between phones equipped with Bluetooth, regardless of the OS (iOS and Windows Phone not supported currently). Nokia 206 Hands On

Alongside the QWERTY equipped Nokia Asha 205, the Finnish phone manufacturer also announced the Nokia 206 as part of its feature phone offering.

The phone has a candy bar form-factor and looks quite handsome if we might say so. The quality of plastics used here is very high though the high gloss finish means that the phone is a fingerprint magnet.  Continue reading “Nokia 206 Hands On”

Nokia Asha 205 and 206 Dual SIM phones announced


Nokia has announced 2 new Dual SIM phones, Asha 205 and 206 in India. These phones come with a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display, but the Asha 205 has A QWERTY keyboard with Island keyboard that increases readability, tactility and typing. Both these phones have Slam feature to share multimedia content like photos, music and videos with nearby friends instantly. It works on Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones without the need to pair devices, and without the recipient needing to also have Slam (iOS and Windows Phone not supported currently).
