Nokia just announced today that it has begun shipping its first Windows Phone 8 devices in select markets to operators and retail outlets and it will go on sale in UK and France later this week.Russia and Germany would be getting the Lumia 920 and 820 after that. Several other countries including India will see the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 being launched sometime in November ( no exact date or price yet). The Lumia 920 packs an awesome camera with optical image stabilization and a pure motion hd+ display apart and runs on Windows Phone 8.
The Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 would mostly launch with Nokia Music in India going by the company’s past record.We would not be surprised if Nokia launches the 920 and 820 for the festival season here in India. Pricing though remains a mystery.
