Ahead of the September 1st launch , press shots of the HTC Omega have been revealed by PocketNow. The images reveal a Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) based handset. The handset appears to have a 3.7″ capacitive touchscreen display.

HTC recently revealed its plans to hold a product announcement on the 1st of September. BGR reports that the Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer plans to announce two new Windows Phone 7 Mango based handsets. The handsets are evidently names the Omega and Eternity.

As I write this post, HTC is rolling out a maintainance update for the Vodafone HTC Sensation users. This update will also upgrade your Android version to 2.3.4. HTC Holiday Prototype for AT&T Shows Up On Craigslist
A prototype of the rumored HTC Holiday has shown up on Craigslist. The phone running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 has been seen with a 1.2Ghz Dual Core CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. A forum goer over at XDA spotted the device , got hold of it and shared the images on the forum. The 4.5″ screen on the HTC Holiday has a qHD (960 x 540) resolution.

Leak: Samsung Hercules, HTC Ruby and LG Flip II for T-Mobile USA
Samsung Galaxy S II is currently the most anticipated Android smartphone in USA and all 4 major carriers are getting ready to launch it. We recently got words from Samsung executive that SGSII will hit USA in August, so hopefully it will be announced anytime this month. Telus launching HTC Status in Canada
HTC ChaCha was officially announced by HTC at MWC which features a dedicated Facebook button and a portrait QWERTY keyboard and it’s especially for people who can’t live without the world’s famous social network known as Facebook. A few days ago, it was launched by AT&T as HTC Status and it’s also AT&T’s first ever device debuting with Android 2.3 and they are offering it for $59 with a 2-yr contract.
