Tech website Gadgetian claims to have got their hands on the specifications of the upcoming HTC Omega. The Windows Phone 7.1 ie Mango powered phone is supposed to be the successor to the HTC Mozart. Specifications include a 3.8″ SLCD display , 16GB of internal storage and an 8MP camera. The processor is a 1.5Ghz single core Qualcomm unit while RAM is capped to 512MB

The International Trade Commission (ITC ) has found HTC guilty of violating 2 of Apple’s patents in the patent litigation between the two companies in the US. This is only a initial finding and the final ruling is yet to be passed. But HTC phones might be banned from being imported to the US if the case continues in favor of Apple who seems to be holding the upper hand in the case at this point. HTC Sensation was launched a few weeks ago and people who love hacking and rooting their devices didn’t like it because it comes with a locked bootloader. Apple has just filed a second patent infringement complaint against HTC. The first complaint was issued for infringement of 20 patents.. Apple has asked to block the import of “personal electronic devices” manufactured by HTC.
HTC HD2 was launched back in November 2009 which is my personal favorite Windows Mobile device and it’s still considered as one of the best HTC WinMo device.
