6 Million Android tablets sold– Andy Rubin

Have you ever wondered how well are the Android tablets selling?

According to the god father of Android, Andy Rubin , who provided a detail about it,  6 million tablets have been sold at AsiaD yesterday. We had previously heard that only 3.4 million Honeycomb tablets have been sold till now, from developer estimates, previously this month.  If these developer estimates were to be precise, that means that a little over half the Android tablets out there,  are Honeycomb.

HTC Puccini UI images leaked, Honeycomb with Sense UI features

HTC is one of the leading technology brands in the world which is also one of the fastest growing tech brands. Their sales are increasing every month and they shipped more than 12 million devices in Q2 2011. Motorola XOOM getting Android 3.1 update in India

Motorola India has officially announced that the Indian Motorola Xoom owners will get Android 3.1 Over the Air (OTA) update on 29th July 2011. This Android 3.1 update activates the SD card slot to expand the external memory up to 64GB using MicroSD. Other features include improved multi-tasking, re-sizable widgets and lots more. DigiTimes: HTC to start Puccini tablet production in June

We recently told you that HTC is planning to launch their first ever Android 3.0 tablet soon and it will be launched by AT&T in USA. HTC: Flyer will receive Honeycomb shortly after launch

HTC Flyer was announced by HTC at the MWC which is their first ever Android powered tablet and is currently running on Android 2.3.3, which is a big drawback.
