AT&T recently announced that the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash.
AT&T currently offers 4 smartphones based on the Windows Phone 7 Operating System – HTC HD7S, HTC Surround, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus. According to recent report by research firm IDC (International Data Corporation), the Smartphone sales in Western Europe is more than the feature phone sales in Q2 2011. The feature phone shipments were down at 29% to 20.4 million units in 2Q11, while smartphone shipments increased 48% to 21.8 million units compared to Q2 2010. Apple has been suing HTC from a long time for infringing various patents, just recently we had heard Apple telling that the whole idea of Android was taken from Apple because Andy Rubin who is the godfather of Android used to work for Apple some 20 years back, but this was not used in the case as Andy Rubin does not really work for HTC. Now HTC has had it enough and with the help of Google are trying to sue Apple.

Want the latest and greatest version of the HTC Sense UI but still toting a Desire HD ? Well you don’t have to wait any longer as the hackers over at XDA Developers have managed to get it running on handset.
A new HTC handset has appeared in the rumor mills which suggest that the Android based smartphone will sport a 4.7″ display. Other specifications include a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. 16GB – 32GB of storage can be expected in the handset alongside support for SRS Surround Sound. An 8MP camera capable of capturing 720p video is expected to be found on the back of the device.
The HTC Flyer is one of the best built 7″ tablets in the market right now with the biggest caveat being that it runs the phone centric Android 2.2 with Sense UI. If you’ve been waiting for the tablet optimized Honeycomb OS on your Flyer , you’ll be pleased to know that the first build of the Honeycomb OS for the Flyer has just leaked out.
