Just yesterday, we brought to you information that the HTC Desire 816 has started receiving the update to Lollipop 5.0 in India. Now HTC has posted on its official Indian Facebook page stating that the update to Lollipop has started rolling out to the One E8, One M7 and the Desire Eye.

HTC has finally started rolling out Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) update for the HTC Desire 816 users in India. The HTC One M8 got the Lollipop update in India earlier this year and the One M7 got the update in India in March. HTC is yet to roll out Lollipop update for the Desire 820 smartphone in India, but it is expected to get the update soon. Check out the change log. HTC reports $1.3 billion revenue, $11 million profit in Q1, 2015

HTC has announced its Q1 2015 earnings where it has reported $1.3 billion revenue, a 25% year on year increase. The Taiwanese manufacturer has also revealed of $11.8 million in quarterly net profit.

HTC has introduced its new Desire 326G dual sim in India at the launch of its One M9+ and One E9+ smartphones. The Desire 326G dual sim has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. HTC has announced the One E9+ for India. It went official last month and comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense UI on top. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an ultrapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M9+ that was also launched in India earlier today at an event. HTC has launched the One M9+ in India when we expected the One M9. It was announced in China earlier this month and packs a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen, is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a fingerprint sensor below the display for secure lock and payments.
