HTC will push a minor software update to its One M9 users in Europe, the Middle East and Africa sometime today. The patch will bring the software version to 1.40.401.5.

HTC One E9 variant with 5.5-inch HD display gets certified in China

HTC E9st, a variant of HTC One E9 smartphone has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. Instead of a One E9’s 5.5-inch 1080p screen, this one has a 5.5-inch 720p display, but it has the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an ultrapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One E9. It runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense UI. Placement of the front and rear cameras have changed compared to the One E9. One of the old ones, HTC remains as one of the few smartphone manufacturers that have been able to stand the test of time. Brand loyalty and genuinely well built, pioneering products that consumers want have guaranteed that so far. When the HTC One launched, it was widely regarded as the best phone around. HTC introduced the Desire 326G dual sim in India back in April. Today the company has launched the smartphone in the country. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC announces One ME – An M9+ variant with a plastic body and no depth-sensing rear camera

HTC One M9 Benchmarks

HTC announced the One M9 smartphone at the MWC earlier this year. HTC did not release the smartphone in India, instead, it launched the One M9+ smartphone. The HTC One M9 is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit 28nm processor that has four bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 2.0GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz per core with 650 MHz Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3GB RAM. It has a 5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense 7.0 UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

HTC WF5w, an upcoming mid-range smartphone in the Desire Series has been certified on TENAA (Via) in China. The listing reveals that the smartphone will be 7.49mm thick, which is thinner than the One E9+ that is 7.54mm thick. It coincides with earlier rumors from upleaks that includes, 5.5-inch HD screen,  Octa-Core MediaTek SoC and a 13-megapixel rear camera, but the listing shows a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, compared to 5-megapixel camera based on earlier leak. HTC H7 budget tablet with 7-inch display, Dual SIM, Android 5.0 surfaces

HTC partnered with Google to launch the Nexus 9 tablet last year, but it’s been years HTC launched its own tablet. HTC Flyer was launched in India back in 2011. Recently a mysterious tablet codenamed HTC H7 has been spotted in Indian import/export database Zauba (via) for testing. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
