HTC One M9 launching in India on April 14

HTC has sent invites for its Unveiling Brilliance event on April 14th in India. The  invite says “Brace yourselves as we get ready to showcase the most exciting revelation in the history of smartphones”, which makes it clear that it is launching the One M9 smartphone in India. The One M9 that was announced at the MWC last month has unibody build similar to the One M8, but this comes with a faster Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core SoC with 3GB RAM, 20-megapixel rear camera and an UltraPixel front-facing camera.

HTC has launched Desire 626G+ dual sim, the company’s latest smartphone in the Desire series in India. It has a 5-inch HD IPS display, powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC One M9+ with 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Fingerprint reader announced

HTC has finally made the One M9+ official at the launch event in Beijing, China. It has the same unibody metal build similar to the One M9, but this comes with a better 5.2-inch Quad HD screen and has a fingerprint sensor below the display for secure lock and payments. It has multi-directional sensors that lets you place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone, says HTC. Instead of Snapdragon 810, this has a 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC Desire 826 launched in India for Rs. 25990

HTC has officially launched the Desire 826 smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced at the CES earlier this year and packs a  5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It adopts the Desire 820’s design and even has dual front-facing stereo HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It comes with dual SIM support and has 4G connectivity. HTC renames BlinkFeed as Sense Home, adds new features, themes and more

HTC has updated its BlinkFeed app with a bunch of features and renamed it as Sense Home. The update now includes HTC Themes and the Sense Home widget.

HTC recently scheduled More than One event in China on April 8th, where it is expected to announced the One M9+ smartphone. Press shots of the smartphone surfaced recently, showing the home button, metal build and the Duo camera arrangement of the phone, now ePrice has got hold of new promo images of the smartphone that highlights the smartphone’s home button between the speakers, which believed to have a built-in fingerprint reader, metal build and its clear Quad HD screen. HTC has announced One M8s, a cheaper variant of the One M8 smartphone with the same all-metal unibody design and a 5-inch 1080p display. This is powered by a Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-Core SoC instead of Snapdragon 801 and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box with HTC Sense UI. Instead of HTC One M8’s Ultrapixel camera, this has a 13-megapixel rear camera, but it still has a Duo camera arrangement to capture depth information. HTC One M9+ press renders surface ahead of launch

HTC recently announced the More than One event in China on April 8th, where it is expected to announced the One M9+ smartphone. Dummy and unofficial render of the smartphone surfaced last month, now @upleaks has leaked new press shots of the smartphone. As you see, the design of the smartphone is similar to the One M9, but it will feature a physical home button that also act as a fingerprint sensor. According to the listing, the One E9+ comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6795M processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense UI on top. HTC schedules ‘More than One’ event in Beijing on April 8th, One M9+ expected

HTC just scheduled an event to unveil the next One series smartphone in Beijing, China on April 8th. The invite says More than One along with an image of the back of the smartphone with two cameras that hints at the rumored HTC One M9+. An image of the HTC One M9+ codenamed HTC Hima Ultra leaked earlier this year along with the One M9 earlier this year, now @OnLeaks has leaked an unofficial render of the smartphone, images and hands-on video of a dummy unit. According to the leak the smartphone will have a 5.2-inch display, slightly larger than the One M9 and the dimensions will be 150.9×72.5×10.15mm, making it slightly thicker than the One M9. HTC appoints Cher Wang as CEO replacing Peter Chou

He will now head HTC Future Development Lab andwill be instrumental in identifying future growth opportunities for the company, said HTC.
