The HTC One M9+ was announced globally in Beijing on 8th April and was launched locally in India on April 14th. The handset will be making its way to the stores on May 3rd at a retail price of Rs 52,500. We managed to get our hands on the device so please stay tuned for that. But in the meantime, we wanted to show you the device in all  its glory through this photo gallery.

On the front you have the 5.2 inch QHD display (2560x1440p resolution). At the top you have the first BoomSound speaker along with the front facing Ultrapixel camera that has a maximum aperture of f2.0.

Below the display you have the Fingerprint sensor which is placed int he middle of the second BoomSound speaker. The One M9+ has Dolby Sound which can be experienced both through the speakers as well as through earphones. The fingerprint sensor can detect your finger in any direction and also be used as a home button. It doesn’t click but touching the button takes you to the homescreen.

The left side is pretty much empty save for the microSD slot. Surprisingly you need a sim ejector pin to access the slot.

Things get busy on the right side. Starting from the top you have the nano SIM card slot, the volume up and down buttons and finally the power/lock key.

At the back you have the 20 Megapixel camera unit which is protected by a layer of Sapphire glass above which you can find the depth sensing camera. Towards the left of the camera module, you can find the dual-tone LED flash.

You can also see HTCs iconic antenna design at the top and bottom as well as the HTC branding in the middle.

At the bottom you have the 3.5mm audio jack and the microUSB port. The microUSB port is positioned in a weird way as its not centered nor is it at the edge.

The top is dominated by the large IR blaster.
