Back in June OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 4.1.5, which was quickly withdrawn and the OxygenOS 4.1.6 update was released. Now OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.7 update for the 3 and 3T that brings improvements, including enhanced system fluidity and battery optimizations.  OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei event tweeted that that update brings touch latency improvements. Google has finally confirmed that Android 8.0 ‘O’ will be called Oreo. It has also released final system images for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel and Pixel XL that can be downloaded from Android developer website here and also started rolling out OTA update for those who have signed up for beta program. It is also pushing sources to Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat update starts rolling out in India

Lenovo-owned Moto back in June started its first Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test in India. After finishing three soak tests, the company has started rolling out stable Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update in the country recently, few months after it roll out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update. Android Nougat adoption hits 13.5%, up 2% since last month

Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of August. Android Nougat adoption has increased to 13.5%, up 2% over last month. Nougat 7.0 was up 1.7% to 12.3% while, Nougat 7.1 increased to 1.2% from .9%.  It is possible that before next month’s distribution, we will already see the arrival of Android O.
