Motorola confirms Android 8.0 Oreo update for range of smartphones
Google started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for Pixel and Nexus devices starting from last month. HTC, Sony and Nokia already confirmed list of devices that will get the Oreo update, Moto has officially announced the list of smartphones that will get the Android 8.0 update. This includes the Moto Z series, Moto X4 and Moto G5 series. Sadly the Moto G4 series and older Moto X series are not there in the list.

Google rolls out September Android security update for Pixel and Nexus devices
Google has finally started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel and Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. It is not available for Nexus Player yet. The latest update this month fixes several critical issues, including issues in Framework, Libraries, Media framework, several components and more. WhatsApp is finally testing ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature on Android and iOS
It looks like soon you will be able to unsend a message you might have accidently sent to a person on WhatsApp. The Facebook owned messaging app is finally testing a feature that will let you recall a message after it is sent, according to WABetaInfo. Dubbed as ‘Delete for Everyone’, the feature will allow you to quickly delete messages before the receiver has had a chance to read them.

Moto X4 Android One version surfaces in press image
Moto X4, the latest phone in the company’s ‘X Series’ was introduced at the IFA 2017. Now @evleaks has posted an image of a Moto phone with Android One branding on the back that looks familiar to the Moto X4. Honor 6 Play with 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE, 3020mAh battery announced
Along with the V9 Play, Huawei’s Honor Brand also introduced Honor Play 6, a budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE support. It is Chinese version of the Y5 2017 that was introduced earlier this year that packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 2GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED fash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has soft LED flash. After leaks, Samsung Galaxy J7+ has gone official in Thailand. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 2.39GHz Octa-Core processor, which will likely be MediaTek Helio P20 and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture to capture depth information.
