Update: Xiaomi just confirmed that after the latest update of public MIUI 9 Global Developer ROM, updates for MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM will be suspended for all devices. The company said that updates are expected to be resumed after July, 2018. This might be based on MIUI 10 since the MIUI 9 was introduced at the same time.

Xiaomi has announced MIUI 9, the latest MIUI ROM at an event in Beijing along with the Mi 5X smartphone. It brings several improvements, optimizations and new features, including new smart assistant and universal search. Earlier this week, Xiaomi revealed Android Nougat update for range of smartphones. Now, the company has confirmed that MIUI 9 will arrive before August 16. The news comes after it was confirmed that the MIUI 9 is currently in development.
