Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018. The device runs MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 as of now. POCO F1 is confirmed to get Android 1o update but the company has not shared any timeline for Android 10 rollout but POCO F1 has one of the most active developer community. OPPO today launched the ColorOS 7 for the global markets, at an event in India, as it had promised. It also announced ColorOS 7 roll out details for several phones, and said that it will be based on Android 10. ColorOS 7 introduces a simple design with lighter icons that are easier to interact and lighter in vision. At the realme XT launch event the company revealed roadmap for Android 10 roll out for its smartphones. The roll out begins Q1 2020 and will continue through Q3 2020. The company did not reveal any details about the realme OS, but the Android 10 update will likely come with realmeOS. A recent report said that realme OS will be availble for all the realme phones,but the realme 1, realme 2, realme C and realme U series are missing in the roadmap. Sony Mobile has officially confirmed the list of its smartphones that will get Android 10 update. This includes its flagship smartphones Xperia 1 and Xperia 5, which will get the update next month. Xperia 10, XZ2, and XZ3 will get the update in early 2020. Sadly, Xperia XZ, XZ1 and Xperia XA2 series are not in the list. Google has been testing integrating Rich Communication Services (RCS) in Android Messages for a few users in the USA for quite a while. Now Google has decided to broadly roll out RCS for all Android users through the Android Messages app. Users in the US will be able to enable RCS Chat features over the coming weeks.

Google had confirmed earlier that Pixel 3 series would get Astrophotography, that was announced along with Pixel 4. The update is now coming out for Pixel devices via Google Camera v7.2 through the play store, up from the Google Camera v6.3.
With the launch of Pixel and Pixel XL in October 2016, Google promised 2 years of Software updates and 3 years of security updates. Google extended that promise by pushing Android 10 to the devices and now, Google has confirmed that they will push one final OTA in December for Pixel First gen.
