Nokia 2.2 Android 10 update starts rolling out

HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 2.2 smartphone, which makes it the seventh Nokia phone to get the update after the  Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1. It was launched last year running Android Pie. Android 10 brings number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more. Nokia 2.2 Android One phone with 5.71-inch HD+ 19:9 display, Android Pie launched in India starting at Rs. 6999

HMD Global just launched the Nokia 2.2, the company’s latest budget Android One smartphone and the successor of last year’s Nokia 2.1 in India, as expected. It packs a 5.71-inch HD+ screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 12nm SoC with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with AI low-light feature, HDR and an 5-megapixel camera on the front with support for Face Unlock, but it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. Nokia 2.2 Android One smartphone surfaces ahead of today’s launch

HMD Global started teasing a new Nokia phone last week, ahead of launch in India today. Now the image of Nokia 2.2 has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a waterdrop notch display, bezel below the screen with Nokia branding, single rear camera with LED flash and a glass-like back with Android One branding on the bottom part.
