Global tablet shipments decline 10.1% in 2015, only 65.9 million units shipped in Q4 2015: Report

Worldwide tablet market declined yet again in the fourth quarter of 2015 with 65.9 million units shipped, down 13.7% year over year, according to latest report from the International Data Corporation (IDC).This is the fifth straight quarter where tablets have reported a decrease year over year. 1.4 Billion smartphones shipped in 2015 – Huawei and Lenovo see biggest growth

The year 2015 saw a total of 1.4 Billion smartphone shipments which makes it the highest number of smartphones shipments in a year. This is a 10.1% increase in shipments compared to the 1.3 Billion units of last year.
