Earlier, rumours indicated that there would be at least 3 different variant if not 4, being announced at MWC in Barcelona, Spain that is scheduled to take place next month. Now, rumours state that there might be just 2 models being introduced next month, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.

Samsung seeds Android Marshmallow accidentally to yet another device – the Galaxy S5

In the latter half of 2015, Samsung seeded an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for both the Galaxy Note5 as well as the Galaxy Note 4. This was accidental and both the smartphones are yet to receive a mass update to the latest Android version. However, it seems that another lucky user has gotten a similar update on his Galaxy S5.

US court orders Samsung to stop selling some phones over infringement lawsuit

A US court has banned Samsung from selling a bunch of smartphones that were found to be infringing on Apple’s utility patents. The ban covers the implementation of features such as “slide-to-unlock” and auto word correction capabilities in some of Samsung’s earlier phones.

Samsung silently fixes S Pen issue in newer Galaxy Note5 units

Samsung patents a smartphone cover with built-in S Pen

According to a new patent, Samsung is working on a smartphone case that comes with a built-in S Pen. The patent diagrams suggest that stylus will be placed at the bottom of the case, similar to the one present on the Galaxy Note 5.
