Samsung just announced its flagship Galaxy S7 edge smartphone at its Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in Barcelona. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) 535 PPI Super AMOLED always-on display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor depending on the market, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones at an event tomorrow. Now the specifications of the smartphone have been detailed in a Samsung Pay promotional poster from a Spanish bank La Caixa. Sammobile who got hold of this poster, also reveals that both the smartphones will come with a 12MP rear camera with 1/2.5-inch sensor, at least 1.4-microns, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and powerful 1.5W loudspeaker.
Samsung is just few days away from announcing the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on February 21 at Barcelona before the MWC 2016. Now a report from Android World is claiming that both the flagships will be available for pre-order on the same day.
More reports about the Galaxy S7 phones has surfaced and this one comes from the popular leakster Evan Blass a.k.a @evleaks via Venturebeat. According to Blass, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will sport a microSD expansion slot and also be water resistant.
