India continues to be the second biggest smartphone market in the world, with over 152 million units that calculates 8.0% year-over-year (YoY) growth, according to IDC. The top 5 smartphone manufacturer who sold the most amount of units in India for 2019 were: Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung, OPPO and realme.
Xiaomi introduced a 65W Type-C Power Adapter back in 2018, after over a year the company’s has introduced a new model that has a 27% smaller design. The company says that can be used to charge laptops, mobile phones, and more accessories that have USB Type-C Port and support for 65W fast charging.
Earlier last year, Google suspended some of its business operations with HUAWEI which includes a ban on using Google Services and Play Store. Micron Technologies has announced that it has started mass production of LPDDR5 mobile DRAM and confirmed that it will be used in upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone. LPDDR5 will offer 40% faster performance and 20% lower power consumption compared to LPDDR4x RAM used in most flagship phones.
