The cross platform messenger service Kik today launched its Symbian and updated Windows Phone apps at the Nokia World conference in London. The messenger competes with the likes of WhatsApp and is also available on iOS , Android and Blackberry platforms. With the new Symbian app Kik Messenger users should be able to communicate regardless of platform of choice.

It is a sleek phone which is 13.5mm thick and has matte leather finish with rounded top and bottom edges. The hard keys and edges have metallic silver finish. It features 600MHz Qualcomm processor and has 3D home screen UI which is customizable that has unique smart folders and a rich set of animated 3D widgets. This morning I had the chance to play with Motorola’s newest Android smartphone – the RAZR. The impossibly slim smartphone is the thinnest I have ever held. At 7.1mm thickness, the RAZR best the Galaxy S2 by a full 1.4mm.
The RAZR’s specs are typical of what to expect from a late 2011 smartphone. Beneath the glossy and stylish metal exterior lies a Texas Instrument OMAP 4430 SoC with dual core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
