Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4, launching alongside the Galaxy S26 series.
Design and Fit
The Galaxy Buds4 series features the Buds blade design, developed using data from hundreds of millions of ears and over 10,000 simulations, with smaller earbud heads for a secure and comfortable fit. Key details include:
- Galaxy Buds4 Pro: Canal-fit design for isolated sound
- Galaxy Buds4: Open-fit design prioritizing comfort
- Color options: White and Black, with an online-exclusive Pink Gold for Buds4 Pro
Additional design features include a refined premium metal finish, engraved pinch control areas, and a transparent clamshell cradle for intuitive storage and charging.
Audio Performance
Buds4 Pro incorporates a wider woofer and two-way speaker system, increasing the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to the previous generation while maintaining wearability.
Together with the tweeter, the earbuds provide 24-bit/96kHz high-fidelity sound, accurately reproducing both low-frequency bass and high-frequency treble. Audio enhancements include:
- Enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Adaptive EQ that adjust automatically to ear shape and wearing conditions
- ANC minimizes low-frequency engine and road noise on buses, trains, and planes
- Adaptive EQ applies optimal ANC algorithms for tailored sound performance
Calling and Galaxy Ecosystem
For calls and device integration, the Buds4 series offers:
- Super Clear Call using wideband call technology and AI-based noise reduction, doubling the bandwidth of standard Bluetooth calls and ensuring clear voice quality in noisy environments
- Support for AI agents: Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, accessible via hands-free voice commands
- Buds4 Pro adds Head Gesture controls for managing calls and AI functions without touching the phone
- Simplified Galaxy device setup: opening the cradle automatically connects the earbuds; volume and EQ can be adjusted via Buds shortcut menu or Quick Panel
