The Oppo N1 is all set to be globally available starting December 10th, which is just 5 days away but as you might have known by now, we have been playing around with the device for some time now. One of the highlights of this phone is its camera, which is a 13 MP unit sitting on a swiveling unit. The Sony EXMOR RS 13 MP sensor is a 1/3.06″ unit, atop which sits the six-element lens, one of the firsts on any Android device. The six element lens has a wide aperture of f2.0, combine that and the new custom algorithms Oppo has developed for the N1, the results aim to be delectable for the user. Well, is it? Asus and Google launch the new Nexus 7 in India officially

The new Nexus 7 (2013) manufactured by Asus went on sale on the Play Store in India last month along with the Nexus 5. Now the company has officially launched the latest Nexus 7 tablet in India. It has a 7-inch 16:10 Full HD (1920 x 1200 WUXGA) display with 10-finger multi-touch, powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064-1AA, with Krait 300 cores) processor clocked at 1.5GHz and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which already got the KitKat update. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 officially launched in India for Rs. 10990

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S Duos 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the Galaxy series in India officially. It went on sale last week, and packs a 4.0-inch WVGA(480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with Dual SIM support with Dual SIM always-on feature and packs a 1500mAh battery with up to 8 hours of talk time.

Epson brings mobile printing support for new Amazon Kindle Fire Tablets

Epson has announced that their printers now support mobile printing on the new Amazon’s new Kindle Fire tablets running on the latest Fire OS version 3.1. These include the new Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch and 8.9-inch tablets. Sadly the latest Kindle Fire tablets are not available in the Indian market yet. Bluetooth 4.1 brings better connection management and bulk data transfers, aimed at wearables
Bluetooth, a ubiquitous wireless technology that’s commonly found on most devices these days, is receiving a minor core specification update today, to 4.1. The earlier update that came out in June 2010, which was Bluetooth 4.0, brought several new forward looking specifications like Bluetooth Smart, that has now enabled the use of wearables like Smartwatches, but it’s getting better now. The 4.1 update brings better connection management for devices that constantly go in and out of range, like a Smartwatch and also brings bulk data transfers which can be sent as a batch once the data collection device(like a smartphone) comes inside range. This enables for a much better experience with wearables, which have been directly aimed at, in this update.
The Wolf Among Us game now available for the iPhone and iPad

TellTale games, the developers of the “Game of the Year 2012 – The Walking Dead”, had released their next game based on the Fables short stories, “The Wolf Among Us”, for console and PC earlier. It is now also available for the iPhone and iPad on the app store. This is keeping up with the tradition of releasing their game on the most popular mobile platform(for games), as they had done the same with The Walking Dead. With cell shaded graphics and an amazingly immersive story line that changes based on the decisions you make, The Wolf Among Us seeks to continue the awesome story telling that TellTale is known for. It has received rave reviews from critics all around, and in the mobile form, the point and click game should be as good as how the Walking dead game was, or at least we hope.

Videocon Telecom has introduced a new tariff voucher that reduces outgoing roaming call rates by 50 percent. This pack lets customers make local calls at 50 paise per minute and STD calls at 75 paise per minute while roaming across India. Videocon was the first operator in India to make incoming calls free while on roaming on their own network, without any processing fee or a special tariff voucher. The company launched 3 free National Incoming Roaming packs recently with free incoming calling minutes while roaming on other networks. Xolo Play Tegra Note with Tegra 4 processor listed online for Rs. 18990

Xolo Play Tegra Note was expected to launch in India in October, but it didn’t happen. Now the Tegra 4-powered 7-inch Android tablet has appeared on Flipkart. This is a re-branded Tegra Note tablet that was announced back in September and Xolo was announced as a partner for India launch. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with support for NVIDIA DirectStylus technology and also comes with a stylus pen. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU and runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Airtel to launch 4G LTE on Smartphones in Bangalore this December

Airtel launched 4G LTE services in Pune last October, and rolled out the 4G TD-LTE service in Kolkata, Bengaluru and Punjab, but it doesn’t support voice or SMS currently. Earlier this year Airtel had announced that they would offer voice services for 4G customers in Pune. The company recently shared on Twitter that they plan to introduce 4G services for customers with 4G-enabled smartphones.
