Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at the company’s AGM launched Jio services earlier today, which will be available for all starting from September 5. Here is a look at its plans in detail. All the plans come with free unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network, including roaming across India so you just pay for the data. “Jio will put an end to voice call charges in India. No Jio customer will ever have to pay for voice calls again,” said Mukesh Ambani.

Reliance Jio could launch 4G services commercially with free voice with data in August

Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) had launched 4G services for its employees in December last year. It was expected to roll out 4G services commercially by the end of this year, now ET and The Hindu are reporting that the company could roll out 4G as early as next month and the launch date could be August 15th. Reliance Jio expected to launch 4G in select areas by Dec 28, pan-India roll out in Q2 2016: report

Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) already said that it plans to launch commercial 4G around December. Now a new report from Bank of America Merrill Lynch says that it expects a small scale launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm’s 4G services by the end of December in select areas, especially in Mumbai, according to ET. Reliance Jio to increase headcount, reveals 4G plans

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries has revealed details about the Reliance Jio and 4G launch plans at the 39th Annual General Meeting in Mumbai today. Last year the company first revealed its plans for 4G. Now the company has revealed that they would increase the Reliance Jio Infocomm team by nearly 10,000 professionals nationally over the next year.
