At the launch of the Nokia Lumia 1020, the Finnish manufacturer announced a range of accessories for its new handset. These include a camera grip and a wireless charging cover in addition to a leather cover.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Mega 6.3 (GT-I9200), the company’s first smartphone with a 6.3-inch display back in May in India. It went on sale in India last month. We brought you the review of the Mega 5.8 earlier today. Here we have the unboxing of the Mega 6.3. The package is made of 100% recycled material and features a wood-like finish similar to the other phones such as Galaxy S4 and the S4 Zoom. This also looks better than the  plain white box.  The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the first smartphone to launch in India with a dual-core Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 chip. It is clocked at 1.7 GHz and has Adreno 305 GPU. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 has a Broadcom BCM28155 processor and VideoCore 4 GPU.

Samsung launched the  Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9192) in India last week at a price tag of Rs. 27,990. It is now available for pre-order from the official eStore. Vodafone India has launched Innovative Design retail concept at its store in Mumbai. This is the first Innovative Design concept store in India, and is based on a Global Design Concept  in international markets like London. The store is located at its corporate office premises at Lower Parel, Mumbai. BlackBerry Q5 launching in India tomorrow

BlackBerry launched the Q10, the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard last month at a hefty price tag of Rs. 44,990. The company is all set to launch the Q5, a budget version of the Q10 in India tomorrow, July 16th. The BlackBerry Q5 was announced at the BlackBerry Live event in Orlando last month. It packs a 3.1-inch (720 x 720 pixels) capactive touch screen IPS display at 330 PPI pixel density and has a 35-key QWERTY physical keyboard similar to the Q10. Xolo has officially launche the Xolo Play T1000, the company’s first phone powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU. Lava E-Tab Z7C+ with 7-inch display, Voice Calling now available for Rs. 8499


Lava E-Tab Z7C+ (Connect+), successor of the E-Tab Connect tablet that was launched back in March is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It appeared online last week and comes with a 7.0-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA)  front-facing camera. It has a SIM card slot that offers 3G connectivity and voice calling support. The specifications are similar to the E-Tab Connect expect for the new sliver colored body.

HTC One mini leaks again, confirms the specs

HTC One mini had already been spotted several times. The specs of the phone surfaced first in February earlier this year, now it is clear that the phone would feature a 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The press render of the phone appeared back in May and it was caught on camera last month. Full hands-on images of the device has appeared on a Bulgarian website recently. Now a German website has got hold of the images and specifications of the device. This reveals that the phone would come with a 1GB RAM instead of rumored 2GB RAM. Panasonic launched the P51, the company’s flagship smartphone in India recently, which we reviewed back in May. Now a new smartphone in the P Series, P11 is available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart. The P11 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor similar to the P51 and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The company also plans to launch the T11 in the new T Series which would come with a 4-inch WVGA  (480×800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Leaked Moto X video reveals an always listening Google Now with a sleeping screen

Seemingly controlled, yet another new Moto X leak has been let loose on the Internet. This time, it’s not the Google Chariman, but the Canadian carrier Rogers. In a “Tech Talk Experts” video, Rogers shows off the black Moto X, which very much looks like the Nexus 4, but shows off rather intriguing functionality. The Moto X is always listening to your voice for commands, just like the Google glass and will let you talk to it, without touching the phone. Much like the Microsoft Kinect on the Xbox One, Google Now always keeps its ears open for a specific command, in this case – “Ok Google Now”.
