HTC One family is a series of three similar looking smartphones that come at different sizes, different specifications and definitely different price points. HTC One, the company’s current flagship, was launched more than a year ago and is still the company’s flagship. In the interim, HTC has managed to push two HTC One lookalike devices in the form of HTC One Mini and HTC One Max.
HTC launched the One Max, the company’s latest flagship smartphone with a 5.9 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and a built-in Fingerprint Scanner in India today priced at Rs. 56,490. The company has also launched range of accessories including Mini+ and Fetch Bluetooth accessories and a Power Flip Case for the HTC One Max in India. HTC announced the mini version of their flagship back in July, but it has been available only recently. HTC One was a flagship known for its exceptional build quality and Boom sound speakers on the front of the device which have been retained in the HTC One Mini. HTC One Mini, as the name suggests is a smaller version of the company’s flagship with slightly stripped down specifications. Apart from the build and the downgraded specifications, the HTC One Mini also retains the 4MP UltraPixel camera from the One, but without OIS(Optical Image Stabilization).
HTC One is probably one of the best built android smartphones out there and so HTC decided to bring out a smaller version and bigger version of it – HTC One Mini and HTC One Max respectively. The trend of stripped down mini version of flagship phones continues with the HTC One Mini which HTC announced in July, but the phone has been available only recently.

The HTC One mini was announced as the company’s answer to people wanting a compact version of the popular flagship – One, but it arguably did a “mini” on the specifications too, which left people wanting more, especially with that price tag. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the One mini has finally gotten its official launch in India, and it has a MOP price of Rs. 36,790, well above the earlier price some e-tailers had posted. While the price may be a bit on the higher side, the One mini does bring a lot of features that were made popular by the One, including the 4 MP UltraPixel camera, the HTC Zoe camera feature and a really good SLCD2 screen spanning 4.3 inches and sporting a 1280×720 resolution. It is definitely good looking too, borrowing from the design on the One, but with more polycarbonate on the sides and the front.

HTC announced the mini version of their flagship, HTC One, back in July as the HTC One Mini and the phone was on display at IFA 2013 in Berlin. The HTC One Mini looks quite similar to the original HTC One, but comes in a smaller package and a less powerful package.
Here is our hands on video from the event –
Big screens aren’t for all customers and manufacturers are keen to address the need for different screen sizes. The latest trend is ‘Mini’ which brings the features of the HTC One to a smaller size. Announced last month the HTC One Mini brings the Ultrapixel camera, BoomSound speakers and Beats Audio to a smaller screen and thinner build.
The HTC One Mini has just gone on sale in the UK and we’re bringing you a retail unboxing of the small-but-powerful One Mini.
The long rumoured and heavily leaked HTC One Mini has finally gone official. Filling the space left by the HTC One S, the One mini will be sporting a smaller display and more modest specs, when compared to its bigger brother and flagship, the HTC One. While the design and the looks are almost exactly the same as the One, the internals are different with predictable cost cutting done in the favour of a lower price. So, in any case, this isn’t a smaller flagship like most people expect it to be. While the camera is the same 4MP UltraPixel camera as the One, it loses the OIS functionality, and if you are keen enough to notice the lack of a vertical band above the camera, which is now occupied by the flash, there is no NFC on this either.
In a recent tradition to release an infographic before a launch, HTC has done it again, and it’s for the One Mini this time. Being rumoured for a long time, and eventually leaking in every possible way, the One Mini is a secret kept even worse than that of its bigger brother, the HTC One. Following this infographic tease of a “smaller is better” tagline, we predict that HTC will be launching the One Mini anytime soon.
